he's going.. he's going.. OH, it's a fumble. life wins, 47-42.
so i just wanted to say that the other post i just posted last night was my 100th post, so congrats me. woo.
anyways, i wanted to rant a bit. if you didn't understand the title of the blog entry, it's on sports. and how i suck at them. and how life just never lets me HIT THE BALL BACK. dammit.
like, today we went out to play tennis, teh entire family. mom and dad being "fierce tennis champions" picking up the ol' raquets again, and then little brother complaining about how boring tennis is, me wanting to learn how to play well, and my sister trying to collect all the balls in the ball container thing. good ol' fun right?
well, it wasn't really. my parents won't let me take tennis lessons b/c they're too far away and they think it's just a fad that'll fade out with time. i don't necessarily think so. i really do like tennis. i just wish i had the time to really learn it and practice it.
but today sucked. mom was yelling a lot, dad was just :| about the entire thing.. and i basically failed "serving" (it wasn't even serving. my mom called em practice serves b/c she thinks i can't hit teh ball) and missed some balls (whatevz, mom) and still. it was just torture. and then my brother stood opposite net hitting like every ball, good posture and good shots.. everything.
and it's just like.. why am i the only one who sucks at athletics? basketball, fail. soccer, meh. baseball, don'tgetmestarted. swimming, meh. running, eh. tennis, i thought i was decent? oh, and don't let me get near football. the only reason i was picked was b/c i was tall. and uhh, now i'm not so tall. and i'm flimsy too, so the end for me.
touchdown -- the world. score is currently 7-0.
but at 8:55pm (yes i checked b/c it was like WOAH!), something happened? my dad was helping me practice serves and i like.. got two. perfect. and my dad was like waoh! and i was like OMGAZ! and then.. i missed more. meh? still a happy moment.
though while i figured out the principal of serving, my brother was playing my mom and they were actually having a match. and i was like.. unfair. i want to learn tihs but my brother gets the natural grip of it? sigh.
short end of the stick, er, raquet, eh?
btw i prefer raquet over racket. i think raquet is like some weird french word though. MEH.
so yeah. uh, basically everytime i went to go pick up a ball b/c i was losing the inspiration of playing, i like had thsi commentary in my head: "I HATE THIS." "LIFE SUCKS." "WHY ME?" "CAN WE GO HOME?" "OH, IT'S ONLY BEEN 3 MINUTES. DANG."
.. yeah.
well, at least forensics practice was good-ish. :)
maybe i'll even out that football game w/ life sometime.

Racquet, Gary, racquet :P
daaang. That sucks, the lessons situation and everything. Were you thinking of joining SHS's tennis team? The coach might not make you a pro, but you'll definitely learn a lot. Give it a shot, eh?
That's got to be frustrating, having your little brother better than you :\ [I know how it feels - Kev can run faster than me, ALREADY...] But then, is he amazing at Forensics? Does he have short Indians [and scads of girls!] worshiping his every move? :P
btw, why no "1 comment <3" yet?
