i live for the thrill.

i got home from the bja forensic supper [which was AMAZING btw.] and then looked on my board of assignments [which is telling me that i'm doomed for AP's] and realized that i had a scholarship essay due today!

the scholarship: writing a 800-1600 word essay on the fountainhead by ayn rand.
the problem? well.. i haven't quite read the book.

so sparknote ensued at around 12am.. but that didn't really work out, and thankfully laura read (and loved) the book and was able to help me out.

by 1 am, i had ideas and was pretty sure about my topic, and the points i was going to do.

and after doing "internet business" (this is the reason i fail/procrastinate), i started my essay at 2am..

finished at 2:55. but then was 80 words over so i had to cut.

then at 2:58 am, i finished. during these three minutes, i was freaking out, skimming super fast, making sure everything was set for the send..

and as i pressed submit, i could hear my heart bounce.

the thrill was exhilirating.

when i got the email back saying they had successfully received my essay..

i was calm. stress was gone. i was happy.

i had done it.
