rekindling

i think i previously stated that i felt like i lost connection with a lot of my close friends from last year. every opportunity now just seems like it's that much more important since the time i have is really quite limited, and my little metamorphisis seems to be taking place and changing my entire stance on people.

yesterday in "academic team," i received tutoring in chemistry. and of all the IB subjects, i really didn't think i needed tutoring in.. mrs. shoun's class. after all, it's mrs. shoun and it's just logic, right? i think i take this class for granted.

after that, i started talking to one of my friends -- someone i respect but for some odd reason, i haven't had the chance to one-on-one talk to him for a very long time. and it was nice. i always feel liked when someone is willing to help you -- because when they do that, they genuinely care about you, and your grades. and we all know that grades are one of the make-or-break it things here at good ol' southside..

soon afterward, i left and went to ask a teacher about some grade mess-ups. and it was pretty nice, because i felt so calm. and i felt like i had rebuilt a friend-friend relationship with the teacher rather than just pupil-professor. heh, i even gave him a side hug. not like that wasn't any more awkward, but it just felt suitable.

i guess what i'm trying to say is that.. every single minute counts. reconnect with someone in those seconds. flash back to the good ol' freshman year days -- or sophomore year trips -- or what just happened last week. the connection's still there, it just needs some finding.

btw, i really hope you like the music. it tends to soothe me..

halooo mister gary.

yes reconnecting is well, how to say... like super refreshing, in a way. I don't know. It's just like 'wow' because you realize how much you've missed that person?
I did a lot of reconnecting yesterday. Frankly, there are people I dont mind not talking too... but I guess that's besides what you're trying to say.

jia you, gary. :)

and yes, that music is soothing. :3
