endorphins clash with dirty h20, oh my!

so what is the feeling when you're running through a muddy track, your shoes are getting as dirty as they can be, your entire body (and shirt. and long hair. and everything else) is soaking wet, and you're falling behind on your pace because for some reason, you just sort of want to enjoy the rain that's falling on you?

.. mm. that was today at cross-country practice.

i really did well today, i believe. didn't stop as much as before and i actually had a pretty good pace, me thinks. close enough to not be last this time, yay for me! but still gotta improve.. the first actual meet is the first wednesday of september and i do not feel at all prepared. but i'm gonna at least try it even though i might walk the last.. 3 miles.. alone.. ashamed. but hey.. maybe it'll rain.

so.. running in the rain was great. and afterwards, angela and i chilled [or more like OMGAW ITS COLD!] in judy's car and just talked. i think one main quality that we lack this year with our classes is the lack of a class where we can just talk to one another. and not say a small thing and get called gabby by your odd english teacher. but a real conversation. sort of like in PE class. or last year with pre-calc. which was basically worthless and the reason why i'm confused in BC calc now. but hey.. life's hard already.

so i'm happy. even though my brand new chemistry book has a selection of water-dried pages, and i hope mrs. shoun [or mr. brooks] doesn't charge me for it, the running today was really an accomplishment. it got me so tired i fell asleep already for like.. two hours. it's not my fault, i'm just a growing boy!

heh. i now leave you with a chemical equation for you all to solve:

endorphin + h20 = happy and wet.

common sense, i think. but some people will never truly figure it out. and until they do, all they see is a panting but dirty-looking [and might i add hawt?] asian kid who's just running just to run.

p.s. every extracurricular activity this year has flipped upside-down. student council, forensics, and today with drama and YIG. it was so weird. i'll rant about that later.

and bio/physics/french/english/psych, i'm really weird? yeah. i'll figure it out. and i need to really soon..
