one third done with the year, my god

kay, so i should've wrote this on friday night, but i didn't so wahtever.

so i had my first gig friday night and it was a ton of fun. the keyboard wasn't amazing, so it was really hard to adjust and play because of the rough keys and the weirdly adjusted keys.. but i guess i dealt with it and still had a blast doing it. :] i can definitely see myself doing this for a while.. :) green tomatoes ftw, right? :]

woo i went to the mall saturday and it was awesome. hollister - got lots of clothes, i really love their cologne. btw, i know what i want for my birthday. WOOF. err, express was good too. except i didn't get anything (YET) but yeah. talked to charlene a lot about nationals, and suits and stuff. lots of fun. fyi wasn't too great, but yellow umbrellas were. :]

got mario kart wii sunday. it's a blast cept i'm a really bad driver using the actual wii wheel. guess i'm not ready for a license? haven't driven in like .. three months, so maybe yeah.. heh.

didn't study a lot over the weekend which i sorta regret, but not really. i juts get that really lazy feeling and i don't feel like doing anything. i do feel like i'm ready for stats and compsci though. i've been getting 4+ on most of the tests, and that's what rogie is predicting, so i am feeling confident about that. just need to get these facts in my head, yeah?

ugh school -- strings is really pissing me off with mr. mcgee's crappy system of grading. but whatever, i'll fix my gpa somehow? every other class is going pretty well though. i think i may be taking physics next year b/c i'm starting to warm up to rogie and his methods. [ew. methods.]

student council is actually giving me a ray of light -- i'm planning on being junior class president! it'll be awesome. i'm starting to just try to relax now -- we're almost done with sophomore year (thank god) .. i cannot wait for uber stress and uber loads of hw, because somehow, i just have a feeling that it'll make me stronger and a better time manager.

tomorrow is the forensics showcase and i am TOO excited; i haven't performed my pieces in a while, so it'll be really exciting. :) cause im starting with the man in the mirrrror. yeah. talked to bynum a lot about like forensics and stuff -- it's been great. SO EXCITED FOR NATS. oratory+expos+poetry.ohmygod. poetry. matt ungar's gonna help me -- he was 7th nationally in poetry in 2005. SO YEAHHHH. im ready. mirror mirror is ready to beat dem downz.

aside from my backaches and stuff, i'm doing pretty well.
