sum-up

there are seventy-six days of summer this year. i was going to revive one of my blogs, ya know, post what i accomplished/learned every single day this summer. i still think i can do it.

i mean, only 22 days have past, so we're not even a third there. after this week at CONA, we will be.

this has been such an interesting week.

got my report card, not so pleased.
got my act score, not so pleased.
got my sat score, a bit better but still i need to keep trying.

then with all the wrecks that happened this week.. especially the death of a musical legend, michael jackson, who is resting up there in heaven, doing the moonwalk and performing for us above..

it's just been a really interesting week. i've been back home for the first full week, and now i depart tomorrow at 2pm for another hopefully life-changing experience.

i'm really determined to do a lot of stuff this summer. and i'm so serious.

*debating: should i highlight my hair before senior pictures? they're on july 20 and if they look horrible, i think that would be a bad way to remember me. opinions needed.

i really want to write a book. i'm so serious about this too. it's going to be a play on "Alice in Wonderland," which i've actaully never read the entire thing of. but i love the concept of it, and all the creative potential it holds. i'll be doing something similar... just not sure if my protagonist should be male (Alex) or female (Alyssa.. unless there's a better A name for girls). A___ in Wonderland. Except twisted, and Gary-fied. I think it'll be a fun project to tack on!
** i've decided i'm doing a female protagonist. i want to parallel alice in wonderland, so my two choices i've narrowed down to are ELISE (the german variant of alice) and ALYSSA/ALISSA (which means "logic"). what do you think?

... So I'm looking forward to getting things hardcore in July. All my "big" activities are over with after CONA (unless I get into boys nation which i pray that i do) and maybe tennis camp. XC starts july 6th.. i finished up my boys state duties today by speaking to the american legion, and wow, june is coming to a close.

i'm seventeen. damn.

that's a great idea for your story!!! O__O I like the name Elise better, but maybe Alyssa would fit more because it means "logic" if you want her to have lots of common sense? ahaha lol XD
I wish summer was longer T__T
